Lumens OIP-D40D 1G AV over IP Decoder

The Lumens OIP-D40D is an advanced AV over IP decoder designed for efficient and seamless video distribution. The 1G AV over IP Decoder from Lumens pairs with the separately available OIP-D40E encoder and extends an HDMI signal up to 1080p60 over a Cat 5e/6/7 cable. The low-latency transmission is lossless and provides high-quality HD video with embedded audio over long distances for your displays, video walls, and digital signage applications at schools, retail locations, or houses of worship.

The decoder features an RJ45 LAN input that receives from the separately available encoder, and it sends the video to the HDMI 1.4 output. It supports IR passthrough using its 3.5mm IR input and output, and receiver/extender cables are included. It can also be remotely controlled via RS-232 using its DB-9 RS-232 I/O port. The durable metal housing allows you to safely use and mount the decoder in just about any indoor conditions.

Networked AV

The OIP-D40E / OIP-D40D pair connects an HD video source and large-format displays over standard IP networks. A single encoder can also transmit videos over long distances to multiple decoders, without the need for a dedicated AV network. With multiple encoders and decoders on the network, the Lumens technology goes up another gear: users can now simply drag any input to any output. Now, retailers, bar managers, and venues can play any video content on selected displays or on all monitors on the network.

Video Wall Installations

Supporting video output in either portrait and landscape orientation, two or more displays can be routed to create a video wall.
