Operating within a standard 2U footprint, this frame simplifies complex multi-channel hardware setups by grouping individual video conversion cards into a single managed chassis. Rather than managing multiple standalone tabletop converters, live production operators and AV integrators can streamline cable routing and rack space. Each installed module processes video signals independently while utilizing the chassis for centralized power distribution, cooling, and network administration.

Built for continuous 24/7 operation, the system incorporates dual hot-swappable power supplies and centralized heat dissipation to maintain system stability under heavy operational loads. The frame manages up to 200W of total power, providing up to 20W of regulated power to each individual module slot. Integrated monitoring tools, including a front-panel touch screen and status LEDs, allow engineering teams to track hardware health in real time. Remote management capabilities through web browsers and HTTP APIs further ensure seamless control across local and networked broadcast infrastructure.

Dual redundant power supplies for continuous 24/7 operation

The chassis features hot-swappable dual power supply modules designed to maintain uninterrupted performance during continuous 24/7 operation. Operating on an AC input of 100-240V at 60/50Hz, these power units support cold redundancy to guarantee operational continuity. Power indicators clearly display unit status, flashing green to signal standby or cold redundancy states.

Complementing the redundant power infrastructure, a built-in centralized heat dissipation design protects against thermal buildup. This integrated thermal architecture manages cooling across the entire unit while accommodating a maximum power consumption of 200W for the chassis and 20W per slot. Together, the centralized cooling and dual AC inputs provide a stable hardware foundation for demanding high-density installations.

Integrated LED touch screen for real-time status monitoring

The front panel includes an integrated 91mm x 81mm LED touch screen that provides direct status monitoring for local workflows. Operators can view connection states for each slot, monitor inserted module information, and inspect system error notifications in real time. The touch screen also allows users to power the chassis on or off, view and edit Ethernet details, and trace important events using on-screen event logs.

Dedicated hardware indicators and audio alerts provide immediate status feedback without requiring browser access. The power LED shows solid green for normal output, flashing green during standby or cold redundancy, and red for faults. Additionally, the blue status light indicates active operation, while a red warning LED and an integrated buzzer beep to notify operators of error conditions.

Gigabit Ethernet and HTTP APIs for remote management

Local and network-based system setups rely on dedicated interfaces designed specifically for chassis configuration. A single 1000Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port provides dedicated bandwidth for hardware monitoring and network parameter adjustments. For direct local access during initial setup or maintenance, operators can utilize the built-in USB Type-C port. Remote administration is handled through a browser-based Web UI compatible with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer. From this centralized interface, users can check the working status of connected modules, adjust network settings, update firmware, rename the device, and control the internal beeper. For automated workflows, built-in HTTP APIs enable seamless integration of status monitoring and core chassis controls directly into custom third-party management platforms.

Weighing approximately 5.6kg when fitted with ten blank panels, the frame maintains a manageable load during physical setup and rack mounting. Out of the box, the system ships with four MEC00048 installation screws and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable to complete the physical installation. It also includes two region-specific power cords, available in US, UK, EU/KR, AU, or JP configurations, ensuring immediate compatibility with local electrical outlets.
