To follow subject movement across expansive rooms, the camera features a pan rotation range of -176° to +176° at variable speeds from 0.1° to 80° per second. It works alongside a vertical tilt rotation range of -30° to +90° moving at speeds up to 60° per second. These mechanical movement capabilities ensure the camera keeps pace with moving speakers while preserving precise control across live production environments.

The Telycam Vision+ 4KN TLC-700-IP-20-4K(NDI)-AB delivers simultaneous 4Kp60 video signals across both NDI®HX3 and HDMI 2.0 interfaces. Additionally, its 3G-SDI output provides 1080p video with Level A and B support to maintain compatibility with legacy switchers and local studio monitors.

For computer-based workflows, the camera includes a USB Type-C port supporting formats up to 4K30 in MJPEG and H.264/H.265 encoding. Operators must note that the NDI and USB outputs are mutually exclusive and cannot transmit video at the same time. This requirement ensures clean signal handling whether setting up IP-based distribution or direct USB streaming applications.

Stereo audio embedding for simplified cable management

The Telycam Vision+ 4KN includes a 3.5mm stereo line input to streamline live broadcast setups. By embedding this line audio directly into the NDI, HDMI, and SDI video streams, the camera maintains precise synchronization across all outputs. In real workflows, this capability allows audio feeds from local mixers to travel alongside the video, eliminating the need for standalone embedding hardware.

Cable management is streamlined through PoE+ support on the 1000M gigabit network port. A single network cable carries power, video, audio, tally, and control data simultaneously. This single-cable workflow reduces physical cable clutter and speeds up installation in studio and live event environments.

Real-time FreeD tracking for virtual production integration

Virtual studio workflows require precise camera positioning data to synchronize 3D render engines with physical camera movements. The Telycam TLC-700-IP-20-4K(NDI)-AB features built-in FreeD protocol support to output real-time positioning metrics over the network. This capability allows augmented reality graphics to match camera pans from -176° to +176° and tilts from -30° to +90° seamlessly during live broadcasts.

Operational automation is supported via RS232 and RS485 serial control ports using VISCA and PELCO P/D protocols. The system accommodates up to 10 preset positions using the remote control, or up to 256 presets when controlled through serial ports, achieving pan and tilt accuracy of 0.1°. An integrated tally light offers clear visual cues to on-camera talent when the feed goes live.
